Where to Get Harmony Shards in Lost Ark?

In Lost Ark, Harmony Shards are essential resources to level up the gear. But Shards are not easy to get. Here are the best and fastest ways to gain Harmony Shards in Lost Ark.

Grind Chaos Dungeons

The first way to get Harmony Shards to start farming in Lost Ark is by clearing Chaos Dungeons, which will reward players with a currency known as Perception Shards. Players can take these shards to Magick Scholar Jeneca in North Vern, who will exchange Perception Shards for Harmony Shard Pouches and Harmony Leapstones. However, it's worth noting that players can enter the Chaos Dungeons only twice a day.

Clear North Vern Resonance Dungeon

Only one dungeon grants you Harmony Shards on each of the four tiers, and that is the North Vern Resonance dungeon.

Follow these steps if you want to unlock the North Vern Resonance dungeon in Lost Ark:

1. Complete the "Ealyn's Request" main quest.
2. Reach at least Level 50 for your character.
3. Enter the first tier at North Vern, using:
        • Party Finder menu
        • Town Shrines
4. Each dungeon tier requires your gear to have the following ranks:
        • Tier 1: 250
        • Tier 2: 340
        • Tier 3: 380
        • Tier 4: 420

You can also clear all other dungeons on both Normal and Hard modes, but these will only grant you Harmony Shards at the end of each run.

Also, when you're done with both runs of the dungeons, you can keep doing so to get Purification Fragments, which can be exchanged for Harmony Shards.

Island Quests

Completing Island Quests is one of the simplest and most reliable ways in Lost Ark to increase one's stock of Harmony Shards. Note that the Islands only unlock at Gear Level 250.

However, it is essential to keep in mind the following two rules while engaging in island quests:

1. Never accept quests that require you to leave islands.

2. The Island quests should be completed in the following order for optimal results:

• Serenity Isle
• Toto Silver Island
• Freedom Isle
• Blackfang's Den
• Lullaby Island
• Astella
• Starlight Isle
• Panda Island
• Peyto Island
• Dreamgull Island
• Golden Wave Island
• White Wave Island
• Kalthertz
• Shadow Island

By running the Islands in this order, the player will be snatching up Harmony Shards and improving their Lost Ark gear in no time.

Doing your dailies

The daily tasks reset every day at 11 am local time. You can do two Guardian Raids (and don't forget to harvest their souls), two Chaos Dungeons, and three Una's Tasks per day. There are also Weekly tasks to begin on Thursdays, just after the reset, to get even more rewards.

Pirate Coin Exchange

Another way for farming Harmony Shards is trading with the Traveling Merchant Ships for Pirate Coins. One excellent source of Pirate Coins is by completing quests in Blackfang's Den and Freedom Isle, two locations found on the eastern side of the world map. Lost Ark players will earn valuable loot, such as Gienah's Coins, which can also be exchanged for more Pirate Coins. Select the "Normal" tab in the ship's Exchange Shop to purchase Fragments and Harmony Shards for upgrading gear.

Grind The Tower On Your Alt

It may seem like strange advice to switch to an alt character to progress the main character, but this is precisely what a player must do to get Harmony Shards from the Tower. The Tower rewards the player with potions and Engraving chests when they first complete it; however, completing the Tower additional times grants Harmony Shard Pouches, which are bound to the character who picks them up.

Join a Guild

It doesn't matter which guild you decide to join but do so. Once you're in a guild, you need to follow these steps to acquire Harmony Shards in Lost Ark:

1. Donate 6,000 Silver to your guild every day.
2. Complete weekly guild quests.
3. Level up Silmael Bloodstone shop to Tier 2.
4. Exchange Bloodstones to Harmony Shards once a week at the Silmael shop, which can be found in every big city.

Chaos Gate World Events

Head over to any Chaos Legion/Gate events you see and head over to the closest one/the most intimate event to your gear score. These reward Harmony Shards for completing and Treasure Maps (you might have to pay some Lost Ark gold for this in the loot auction). You can meet these every day.

Dismantling items

Harmony Shards can also be obtained through dismantling items. Whenever you get identical pieces of gear, right-click them in your inventory and disassemble them to get some materials back. It's not guaranteed, but you can also get some Harmony Shards back this way.
