How to Unlock, Access, and Complete the Shadespire Tower in Lost Ark?

The first tower you'll unlock in Lost Ark is Shadespire, a series of challenges on different floors, and it will provide amazing rewards. This guide will take you know all the information you need to know about Shadespire Tower and how to clear all 50 floors of it.

What is the Shadespire Tower?

Shadespire is one of the first towers players will have unlocked, as it's the most important one to clear for your character progression. Featuring 50 floors that scale in difficulty from floor to floor, each must be defeated sequentially for the player to reach the tower's top. This tower, in particular, grants you rare items, Skill Point boosting potions, and most importantly, Engravings.

How to Unlock the Shadespire Tower?

These are the requirements that you must meet to unlock Shadespire.

1). You must reach Level 50.
2). Your Item level must be 302.

This can be accomplished by completing the first Chaos Dungeon or the Main Questline in Shushire.

Once ready, follow these steps:

1). Players need to access your Quest Journal (J).
2). Accept the quest in the Guide Quests Tab.
3). The first one given is the Guide Quest: Gear Honing Guide.
4). Complete that, and another quest will appear; Guide Quest: Public Announcement Tower.
5). Accept it and finish it by walking up to the entrance.
6). The tower will be unlocked after you have met the requirements, and players can enter the first floor of the Tower.

How to Access the Shadespire Tower?

Now, to access Shadespire, you can follow the rest of the process:

1). First, you have to search for the location to access the tower.
2). The Tower entrance can be found in all major cities as an icon on the map. In North Vern, it's located at the northwest corner of the hub town.

3). After getting to the location, interact with the tower.
4). Now, you can select which Tower you'll clear and which floor you wish to start at. Each floor will showcase its objective, time limit, rewards, and item-level requirements.
5). You can enter any floor you've previously cleared.
6). Remember, you can only run this activity solo, so be sure you have good skills in Tripods and Engravings before you begin.

How to Complete Shadespire Tower?

1). Shadespire Tower is a challenge that must be attempted alone. As such, players can use battle items that minimize their sole class's weaknesses. More sluggish warrior types could use marching flags to avoid incoming damage, while squishier and more easily-bested supports can activate campfires to provide passive health regeneration.

2). Players will need to be at least level 50 to begin this challenge, with an equipment level of 302. Additionally, the item level required to enter the next stage is increased every five floors. If you wish to beat level 50,  you will need an item level of 540.

3). Considering the often overwhelming amount of damage being flung the player's way, it would be wise to bring as many healing potions as their consumable Hotbar will allow. This includes, but is not limited to, stacks of several hundreds of Adept, Expert, and Super healing potions.

4). PvE content in Shadespire Tower takes one of three forms: multi-enemy wave survival, defeating elite versions of standard enemies, or slaying a unique boss on every fifth floor. Survival and elite floors challenge the player with a three-minute time limit. Boss floors spare the player five minutes to determine the particular boss's attack cycles and clear the room.

5). In case you do die, you can restart the level you were playing at, and not from level 1.

Lost Ark players will receive the following items for their first character's run through the tower:
