Useful Guide to PoE 3.10 Delirium Cluster Jewel

Path Of Exile 3.10 Delirium introduced a new type of gem, Cluster Jewel. Because it is a debut, players are not familiar with all aspects of it, so we bring you Useful Guide to PoE 3.10 Delirium Cluster Jewel to help you understand Cluster Jewel in-depth to maximize its effect.

Cluster Jewel

What is Cluster Jewel?

It is one of these newly added PoE items in Delirium expansion to expand the passive tree and add new minor nodes, notables, and keystones. They are set to socket into the outermost sockets of a passive tree.

Size

There are a total of three sizes of Cluster Jewel, Small, Medium, and Large, each with a different focus.

• Small Cluster Jewel can be placed in sockets created by Large or Medium jewels and sockets on the outermost parts of the passive skill tree. Small jewels focus on defenses.
• Medium Cluster Jewel can be placed in the outermost passive skill tree sockets or a socket created by a large jewel and they focus on specific mechanics and utility effects.
• Large Cluster Jewel may be placed in the outermost passive skill tree sockets and focus on offensive bonuses.

Crafting

As for crafting, each jewel of each size is also different in terms of cost.

• Large Cluster Jewel: 2-3 Notables + 2 sockets
• Medium Cluster Jewel: 2 Notables + 1-2 sockets
• Small Cluster Jewel: so common to craft easily

Each jewel can have up to two prefixes and two suffixes, choosing your favorite prefix or suffix for your jewels based on these rules:

• Prefix-A: the lower weight of the two prefixes
• Prefix-B: the higher weight of the two

If they are the same weight, it doesn't matter which one.

• Suffix: A notable for the large jewel, while a passive bonus if medium.

It's worth noting that the number of passive skills added by the jewel and the effect of the small nodes are both enchantments, not implicit mods. This means that they cannot be rerolled with Blessed Orbs, and will not be overwritten if you add a corruption-exclusive implicit mod to the jewel.

Item Levels

The Cluster Jewel's item level does affect the mods it can roll, but only for affixes that affect the small passives. All notable-granting affixes have no item level requirement. So no need to spend more time to improve the level, just choosing the lowest ILVL to meet the requirements.

• Large Cluster Jewel

Best Level Item 75, it guarantees that you are able to get 3 notables and 1-2 jewels sockets, the passive effects are already just the way of crafting a good jewel.

• Medium Cluster Jewel

No higher than Level Item 67, it's available to get all the notables and jewel sockets, which also blocks the second and highest tier of small passive effects while saving much time.

• Small Cluster Jewel

Just reach Level Item 84 to get 1 notable, reducing the tiers of these mods and the potential of the jewel.

Passive Skill Amount

For large and medium Cluster Jewels, it is appropriate to choose the lowest amount of passive skills, as the jewel itself and notables also count to those passive skills. In general, a cluster jewel with 2 sockets and 2 notables can reduce 1 passive skill.

As for these small cluster jewel, since they are common to get, you can add passive skills at will as the rule, the lowest amount can save more.

Text

White Text: Seen at the top of the Jewel, these are the Enchants the Jewel has. The most important one here is the line that reads "Adds x Small Passive Skills," where X seems to be how many "Small Node/Travel Nodes" is added when the Jewel is Socketed. All Cluster Jewels also seem to be guaranteed to have one line which modifies the Travel Nodes the Jewel adds. These stats CANNOT be modified via ANY PoE currency.

Blue Text: These are the remaining lines on the Jewel, what I am referring to as "Explicit" stats. All of these stats are modifiable via PoE currency, such as Chaos, Alteration, Scour, or Chance Orbs. These can further Modify the Small Passives, add Notables, add Keystones, or add Cluster Sockets. The Explicit a Cluster Jewel is capable of rolling are also based on the Small-Node modifying Enchant the Jewel has based on this post, though we aren't sure how exactly the Enchant affects it.

How Can I Obtain Cluster Jewels?

Cluster Jewels can drop from any monster affected by the Delirium Fog.

What Is The Difference Between Large, Medium, And Small Cluster Jewels?

The only real difference so far seems to be the number of passives the jewel provides, as well as if the Jewel can add Cluster Sockets to your tree, and finally what size of Cluster Socket is needed in order to socket the Jewel.

Can Cluster Jewel trade with each other?

Absolutely can, Cluster Jewel is one of POE items. In most cases, it is allowed to trade among players, but from the current situation, the drop rate of Cluster Jewel is not low. Whether buying or selling Cluster Jewel, it will not bring much change in the economy.

How to price Cluster Jewels?

• When it comes to pricing these Jewels you should start with the base. Some Cluster notables only roll on bases iLvl83 and above, so those should be priced higher.

• Cluster Jewels with 8 small passive points should be priced way higher than those with 12.

• If you have a Cluster Jewel with a good notable combo it will, of course, cost a lot.

Compared to Cluster Jewel, more valuable PoE Currency may occupy a major position for the in-game economy and never change in multiple expansions. Fortunately, Eznpc.com sells PoE currency at low cost, safe, and fast delivery, which can help you save a lot of time. By the way, Eznpc also has special discounts. Use coupon code "POE5" to get a 5% discount.
